Even though I understand where you were coming from, the boss and Sr. Manager probably saw you as having a bad attitude, etc. Talk to your boss about it, be humble and use the angle of miscommunication. Tell him how you are feeling, and how you feel you were perceived, and that is was a miscommunication, but that you could see how it might look like lack of team work, etc. Focus on solutions and moving past it. "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem" Good luck, I hope things work out.
